As part of its magnificent fall debutantes, Patek Philippe announced a new take on its highly sought-after World Time Flyback Chronograph. Presented in steel for the first time and featuring a stunning rose-gilt hue dial with a “carbon” guilloché motif, it is the ultimate gem for the knowing collector.
The case has a diameter of 41mm and a svelte height of 12.75mm. Impressive dimensions considering the complexity of its self-winding movement, which brings together the eponymous complications of day and night indications in all 24 time zones. In addition, the caliber CH 28-520 HU, which is finished to the high requirements of the Patek Philippe Seal and sports a 21k gold rotor, delivers a power reserve of up to 55 hours.
The new Patek Philippe ref. 5935A World Time Flyback Chronograph is delivered with two calfskin straps – one in grained taupe and the other in beige with a nubuck finish. Pricing is marked at $63,870.
