HODINKEE Radio: Why Even Bother To Make A Magazine?

With HODINKEE Magazine Volume 10 launching just last week, I thought it would be fun to sit down and chat with two people who helped shape the magazine and keep both the content and the design on track – Nick Marino, and Mike Renaud. Nick, as many of you are well aware, is HODINKEE’s own SVP of Content and Mike is the Co-CEO and Founder of Varyer, a design firm that heavily influenced this issue of the magazine.  

We talk about the special watch that we had engraved for the cover (and will later be auctioned off in support of the HSNY), some of the stories in the magazine, and what goes into taking the mostly-digital mind of HODINKEE and making it something that translates (and hopefully delights) in print.
